Change is in the air as autumn quickly approaches, and this is historically the time of year that the Hill County Community Foundation (HCCF) notifies local nonprofits that the HCCF annual grant cycle is open.

To match the season of transformation, HCCF has undergone some recent changes as well.   After 10 years of serving as Chair, Pam Veis has chosen to step down and pass the lead baton on to Kristi Peterson.  Pam believes empowering the next generation of leaders in Hill County is crucial for every organization, and she will remain engaged in HCCF as an Advisory Board member.

Other changes are as follows:

1. HCCF is moving to a biannual grant cycle beginning in 2025.

2  Grant applications and guidelines will be made available on our website and via email address in January 2025 (exact date to be determined).

3. HCCF will award grants in the spring of 2025.

These changes will enable HCCF to grant out approximately $10,000 to local nonprofits every two years - a more substantial sum than previous grant cycles.

We appreciate your understanding of these changes and thank you for the dedicated work you provide for Hill County communities!

Warm regards,

The HCCF Advisory Board

Community Grant Program

The Hill County Community Foundation provides valuable dollars to projects that would otherwise go unfunded. The annual interest of the HCCF endowment fund along with accepted donations helps to make this program possible. To learn more about future grant opportunities, click the link below.
